DELO - KATIOBOND

UV härdande (320-400nm) & ljusaktiverat (400-550nm) epoxilim är 1-komp lösningsmedelsfritt och är lämpliga för t.ex. limning, försegling och små ingjutningar.

Katiobond UV-, blåljus-epoxilim kan användas i applikationer med ogenomskinliga delar som skall limmas. När limmet väl är aktiverat så startar härdningen och fortsätter tills limmet är helt härdat. Härdningen sker med kationisk polymerisering och det är därifrån namnet Katiobond kommer.

Produktgruppen har bra temperaturtålighet, upp till 250 grader och har utmärkt motstånd mot kemikalier. Det här gör dem lämpliga för applikationer inom bilindustrin och andra applikationer i tuffa miljöer. Epoxi har en torr yta efter härdning (ingen reaktion med syre). Katiobond har liten krympning vid härdning vilket gör att den inbyggda spänningen blir låg. Produkterna har också låg vattenabsorbtion och väldigt lågt joninnehåll vilket gör att de passar utmärkt för elektriska applikationer.

Katiobond-limmerna finns tillgängliga med olika viskositeter från 400 till 180.000 mPa·s. Det är möjligt att härda tjocka lager av lim p.g.a. att synligt ljus penetrerar djupare än vad UVA ljus gör.
